Internationally acclaimed pianist Barry Douglas returns to University Concert Hall with Camerata Ireland for an afternoon of Mozart and Tchaikovsky.
Barry Douglas takes centre stage as soloist for two of Mozart’s piano concertos – the elegant Piano Concerto No. 12 in A major, K.414 and the richly expressive Piano Concerto No. 14 in E-flat major, K.449.
The programme continues with Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, one of the composer’s most enduringly popular works, filled with warmth, lyricism and the rich sonority of the string orchestra.
Bringing together one of Ireland’s most distinguished pianists with the exceptional musicians of Camerata Ireland, this promises to be a memorable afternoon.
