University Concert Hall is delighted to put its historic Compton Organ centre stage for Culture Night 2026!

Join us as we welcome acclaimed Irish organist, Rónán Murray, as he showcases this stunning instrument to perfection.

Enjoy Charlie Chaplin’s hilarious debut film, Making a Living, screened with live organ accompaniment by Rónán, along with another short film and other favourites.

This isa truly unique opportunity to enjoy the only surviving Compton Organ in Ireland, hearing it played in the way it was originally intended – to accompany silent film!
