For the final gathering of The UCH Book Club’s 2026 season, we welcome acclaimed Irish author Fíona Scarlett in conversation with Sarah Moore about her much-loved novels Boys Don’t Cry and May All Your Skies Be Blue.

Known for writing with extraordinary warmth and tenderness about family, friendship, love and loss, Fíona will reflect on the characters and stories at the heart of both novels, her journey from an acclaimed debut to her second book, and the experiences and ideas that inspire her writing.
