On Christmas Eve, a young boy is having doubts that Santa Claus exists. Then a magical train, the Polar Express, appears outside his house. He boards the train and embarks on a magical adventure.

The Polar Express is bound for the North Pole, where its passengers are going to meet Santa Claus. Through the adventures they have along the way, they learn about friendship, bravery, and the true spirit of Christmas.

The young boy who once had doubts is about to learn that the magic of Santa Claus is very real after all.
