What time does the show start and when should I arrive?
Most shows start at 8pm, however, on occasion some events may start earlier (e.g. most family/children’s events, including Panto).
Please refer to your ticket or e-ticket as the start time will be displayed on this.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start time.
Due to the nature of live entertainment, all times are approximate and subject to change.
Who should I contact about lost property?
If you have lost something, or left something behind you at an event, please contact the Box Office as soon as possible. If anything has been found by Front of House staff or cleaners after a show, it will be handed into the Box Office and kept for a period of time.
What hotels are near UCH?
The closest hotel to UCH is the 4 star Castletroy Park Hotel which is located opposite the entrance to the University campus. There are a number of other 3, 4 and 5 star hotels in the immediate area and in Limerick city which is approximately 10 minutes by car/taxi. For further information please see Spend The Night
Can I bring food and drink into the auditorium?
Sweets and soft drinks are allowed into the auditorium, however, alcohol is not.
Can I purchase tickets at the box office on the evening of a show?
Yes, subject to availability. The UCH Box Office is open up to 3.5 hours before a show and for 30 minutes after the start time.
Can I bring children to UCH and do I need to buy a ticket for them?
Children are always welcome at UCH, unless there is a specific age limit put on a show at the discretion of the artist/producer for reasons of suitability. Children attending must have a valid ticket. On occasion e.g. for some family shows, there will be a Babes In Arms ticket available which will allow children aged 2 and under to access the auditorium for free. The Babes In Arms ticket must be picked up at the UCH Box Office on the day of the show and cannot be booked in advance.
Will I get into the show if I am late?
Each show will have a different latecomer policy. We do endeavour to seat all latecomers with as little disturbance as possible to the rest of the audience i.e. during applause or a scene change. However on occasion this may mean taking a seat to the rear of the auditorium until the interval. The policy on any given event will be at the discretion of the artist.
Will I receive a refund due to adverse weather conditions?
We will endeavour to make sure that all performances go ahead as planned, whatever the weather. No refunds will be given unless the show is cancelled.
I can’t go to the show that I have booked for, will I receive a refund?
Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. If the show is Sold Out, however, please contact the Box Office and the team will endeavour to sell on your tickets for you.
What if my tickets have not arrived in time for the show?
Don’t worry! If you have booked your tickets online or via the UCH Box Office, one of our team can check your booking on our ticketing system and arrange to have copy tickets available for collection at the Box Office on the evening of the show.
If you have purchased your tickets via a third party e.g. a Musical Society, Stage School etc. you must contact the seller to organise replacement tickets as UCH will not have a record of your booking.
