University Concert Hall is delighted to continue its Rising Stars Concert series, which was first established in 2016 to bring young, talented classical artists to new audiences. It gives us great pleasure to work with leading institutions to present truly gifted musicians and singers, all of whom will perform programmes of their own choosing.

Zarzycki - Mazurka No.1 in G major, Op. 26
Kseniia is a graduate of the Stolyarsky Special Music School in Odesa, currently studying in the Bachelor of Music programme at MTU Cork School of Music. She received the Jane Carty Memorial Prize at the Irish Freemasons Young Musician of the Year 2025, and won the Advanced Recital and Concerto Competitions at MTU CSM.

Ciara is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Performance at TU Dublin Conservatoire. She was a soloist in the National Concert Hall’s Another Lunchtime at the Operaseries, and performed in Bizet’s Carmen as part of Dublin City Council’s Opera in the Open.
Sulamita Pyvovar (Piano)

Sulamita is a student of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, following initial studies at the Lviv National Music Academy in Ukraine. She has been awarded the Lucien and Maura Teissier Scholarship, and won the Hibernian Orchestra Concerto Competition, and the Maura Dowdall Award.

Paulo is currently studying the MA in Classical String Performance at the University of Limerick with Irish Chamber Orchestra. He has performed with the Ulster Orchestra, Irish National Opera, and the Irish Baroque Orchestra, and as principal viola in the National Symphony Orchestra of Paraguay.

Laura is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and an Irish National Opera Studio Artist. Her awards have included the Canto al Serchio Award at the Birr Fesval of Music, and the Brackaville Bursary for Vocal Students by Irish Heritage UK.
