UCH CINEMA –CULT CLASSICS SEASON

After a brutal car accident, Rita is the sole survivor but suffers amnesia. Wandering into a stranger’s apartment downtown, her story strangely intertwines with Betty, a perky young woman in search of fame. Betty is intrigued by Rita's situation and puts aside her dreams to help Rita investigate this mystery. The two women soon discover that nothing is as it seems in the city of dreams.

David Lynch’s iconic, surreal masterpiece explores themes of identity, dreams, and the dark side of Hollywood.
