Driving to the University of Limerick / University Concert Hall
Whether you’re coming from Limerick City, Dublin, Clare, or Kerry, the University of Limerick is easily accessible via major roads and motorways. The main entrance to the campus is marked by two large flag poles on Plassey Park Road, Castletroy.
From Limerick City Centre
Take the Dublin Road (R445) out of the city.
Travel approx. 3 km to the Parkway Roundabout and take the second exit (straight through).
At the next roundabout (Groody Roundabout), take the first exit and follow signs for University of Limerick.
The main campus entrance will be on your left, marked by two large flag poles.
Once on campus:
→ At the first roundabout, take the first exit, continue straight, then take the first right.
→ The Foundation Building (home of University Concert Hall) will be on your right-hand side.
From Dublin / Nenagh (M7 Motorway)
Exit the M7 at Junction 28 (Limerick East).
At the Mackey Roundabout, take the third exit for Castletroy.
Continue straight through Annacotty and Kilmurry Roundabouts.
At the traffic lights, turn right onto Milford Road.
At the end of Milford Road, turn left onto Plassey Park Road.
At the next lights, turn right into the main UL entrance (flag poles visible).
Follow the same on-campus directions as above.
From Clare (Ennis/Shannon)
Take the N18/M18 southbound to Limerick.
Merge onto the M7 eastbound toward Dublin.
Exit at Junction 28 and follow the same directions as “From Dublin/Nenagh” above.
From Kerry (Tralee/Killarney)
Take the N21 toward Limerick.
At Limerick, follow signs for the M7 Dublin motorway and merge eastbound.
Exit at Junction 28, then follow the Castletroy/UL directions as above.
Parking & Campus Navigation
There is limited visitor parking near the Foundation Building and throughout campus. Please follow directional signage and allow extra time before performances at UCH.
