Limerick Classical Concert Series Presents Trio Cassard Grimal Gastinel

Soloists and concertists, Philippe Cassard (piano), David Grimal (violin) and Anne Gastinel (cello) began playing in trio in the mid-2000s. They are invited to many festivals and music seasons in France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland and Canada.

Their repertoire includes trios by Haydn, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Ravel, Chausson, Fauré, as well as the complete Beethoven Trios. From the latter they recorded for La Dolce Volta the trios "Les Esprits" op.70 n°1 and "A l'Archiduc" op.97, which receives the Diapason d'Or, the Choc de Classica and the FFFF of Télérama. In 2016, they commissioned a Trio from jazz composer and pianist Baptiste Trotignon.
