This Autumn, Liz Nolan RTÉ lyric fm is back with The Friends of UCH Music Club for 5 nights. This series has an eclectic mix of topics which is sure to appeal to all music lovers. As usual Liz will take the lead in this very informal but very entertaining Thursday night series - exchanges and story swapping is welcome!

28 September - Modern Choral Masterworks

Music Club sets the pace with a sampler from four centuries of iconic choral showcases: music of Britten, Gorecki, Poulenc, Whitacre and more.

5 October - Puccini's Women

 Music Club has a rendezvous with a range of heroines from Puccini operas- and some of the divas who brought them to life.

12 October - Young Guns

 Music Club hears from music's most famous prodigies- Mozart, Mendelssohn, Boulanger, Beach, Korngold, and more.

19 October - Guaranteed Irish

 Music Club celebrates a wealth of Irish composers and artists, and the transformations of our musical heritage, up to the present day.

26 October - Toujours Paris

 Music Club drops in on the City of Light, when fin de siecle Paris was the nexus point for artistic ferment, and endless parties.
