Limerick School of Music 60th Anniversary Celebration Concert
In January 1962, Limerick School of Music opened its doors for the first time and since then tens of thousands of students have had their lives enriched with the gift of music education. This concert is a celebration of that legacy.
Students past and present, along with staff members and distinguished alumni will be present to mark the 60th anniversary of Limerick School of Music. The concert will feature instrumental and vocal soloists, chamber groups and orchestral performances including music by Tchaikowsky, Bizet, Handel, Mozart, Cassidy and Whelan.
In addition to a musical celebration, the event will also mark the launching of the LSOM Alumni Association and a new Alumni & Friends Scholarship fund that will assist deserving students with instrument purchase and tuition fees into the future.
Presented by Limerick School of Music
Sponsored by Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board
