Home Alone

First released in 1990 this now classic Christmas comedy film is about eight-year-old Kevin McCallister who is mistakenly left behind when his family flies to Paris for their Christmas holiday. Originally delighted to be left behind, he soon has to contend with two blundering burglars with hilarious results!

After its release, Home Alone became the highest-grossing live action comedy film of all time, holding the record worldwide until 2011. For nearly three decades, the film was also the highest-grossing Christmas film of all time and it spawned a successful film franchise with four sequels!
