It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like…..!

University Concert Hall & Robert C Kelly are delighted to announce details of this year’s Christmas, family show “A Lot Like Christmas”!

Featuring a screening of the iconic, animated film The Snowman, with live narration, A Lot Like Christmas will also see the welcome return of some of your favourite Panto Pals including Richie Hayes & Myles Breen! Come join them as they get caught up in madness and mayhem in an attempt to bring Christmas back to the UCH stage. With their hysterical endeavors, a sprinkling of song and the classic wonder of The Snowman movie, this will be unmissable family entertainment!

Originally published in 1978, The Snowman, created and illustrated by Raymond Briggs has become one of the world’s most popular children’s books selling in excess of 8.5 million copies worldwide and being translated into over 15 languages.

This well-loved book was adapted for screen by producer John Coates, leading to the Oscar nominated animation with iconic score which first aired in 1982 and has been broadcast on a global scale including Asia, Europe and North America.

In order to keep artists, staff, crew and audiences safe, we ask that you adhere to current public health advice when attending a show at UCH:

  • Please do not attend the show if you are suffering with any symptoms of Covid-19.
  • All patrons must provide valid proof of immunity from Covid 19 either via vaccination or recovery using a Digital Covid Cert and valid ID on arrival at University Concert Hall (UCH). A negative PCR, lateral flow test or antigen test is NOT accepted for entry at present.
  • Minors who do not hold proof of immunity must be accompanied by an Adult who carries proof of immunity. Any group bookings including minors should be booked directly through the Box Office on 061 331549
  • Tickets must be pre-printed at home or can be presented on a mobile device for admission. Ticket collection will not be available on the day.
  • Patrons are required to wear masks at all times, including during the performance. Patrons will not be granted access to UCH unless they are wearing a mask.
