Panto Kids’ Auditions

If your child loves panto, loves to dance and would love to share the stage with some iconic Irish performers, then the UCH Panto Kids’ Audition is for them!

The University Concert Hall and Robert C Kelly Panto is now in its sixth year and has grown to become one of the most eagerly anticipated in the country, with a host of Irish showbiz names starring in it since 2012. This year’s production of the classic Cinderella will star Dayl Cronin, Dancing With The Stars semi-finalist and former member of Irish boyband Hometown, together with a host of familiar favourites and another soon to be announced big name!

If your child loves panto, loves to dance and would love to share the stage with some iconic Irish performers, then the UCH Panto Kids’ Audition is for them!

Once again we are looking for three teams of children to take part in Cinderella and auditions are open to all children from the ages of 7 to 11 (a height restriction of 4ft 11in applies). Dance experience is desirable, and an advantage, but it is not essential and children do not have to be a member of a dance or drama school.

Auditions will take place on the UCH stage on Sunday 10th September at 11am sharp and will be conducted by panto choreographer, Erica Delaney-Hayes.  Erica has worked professionally in the entertainment business for over twenty years, working in venues throughout Ireland including The Gaiety, The Olympia, Cork Opera House and the Helix.

If you would like your child to take part, please contact Marie Healy, in advance, at 061 213302 / marie.healy@uch.ie.
