Award-winning opera producer Ellen Kent brings one of the most romantic operas ever written to the University Concert Hall stage in her Spring tour.
The powerful and emotional La Boheme is the tragic tale of hopeless romance.
Puccini’s masterpiece is based on Henri Murger’s novel Scenes de la vie de boheme. Set in Paris, with sets reflecting the Bohemian art of the period, it focuses on the love between seamstress Mimi and poet Rodolfo.
With full orchestra, chorus, international guest soloists and stunning sets and costumers, Puccini’s La Boheme is not to be missed.
